Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hutchinson

The woman at the front desk was pleasant, quick, clearly intelligent, on point and one of the best hotel reps I have ever dealt with. Aside from that, I'm not happy. The brightness on my TV is set so low, it's maddening. There does not appear to be any way to adjust it, with the ridiculously restrictive set-top boxes. Everything else was great, but the TV issue meant enough to me to give the corporation a 1 star.

The employees were very kind and always happy to help. Breakfast was great. hotel was very clean. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is great. Lots of restaurants and food nearby. There is a Walmart and Hutch Vintage Market is only a few minutes away.

My daughter and I stayed for a night to celebrate her birthday. We chose this hotel because of the pool. My daughter loved the pool but for me it wasn’t the best. It wasn’t the cleanest area and the pool was really cloudy. The room was nice but it didn’t have the clean hotel room smell when we walked in. It wasn’t dirty by any means but it was less than what I expected for the price of the room. I am also less than impressed with the front desk staff. I tried calling for over an hour (dozens of phone calls) to make a reservation and inquire about pool hours since that’s the main reason for our stay. There was never an answer. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms, great for kids. The pool is small but plenty for us. Breakfast was a big decider, they have hot breakfast sandwiches (in plastic wrap) so you can get protein and grab and go if you want. Nice instant oatmeal bar as well with many great mix ins. Coffee was good. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel in central Hutchinson. Very easy to get to. Check in wad easy and we got a room upgrade when checking in. Rooms were spacious and quiet, even with a main road right outside. Would stay here again.
