Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fort Walton Beach Hurlburt Area

As a dedicated Marriott member, it always disappoints me how little attention the TVs in the gym get. Usually they don't work or they work poorly. But I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and selection of over 100 stations on the treadmill making the workout tolerable. Best in maybe 5 years! Seems small but attention to details matter! Kudos!

Matthew made checking in seamless, the rooms are clean and well maintained. We had breakfast 6 out of the 10 day stay and every time it was hot, tasty, and plentiful. The only drawback is the pool was closed but it was during the cold snap in North Florida so expectedly so.

This is a solid, standard-issue Fairfield. I stayed here for a night on a business-related trip in the panhandle. The check-in was easy, the staff were very helpful, and the price was solid. The free breakfast was also a decent set-up, with continental and hot options, including a classic hotel waffle maker. The room was a decent size and featured two queen beds that were a little firm but comfortable for me. There were only three pillows on the bed instead of four, which may be an issue if you're sharing a bed. The AC unit is a hotel-style window unit but it cooled the space just fine. I didn't notice any loud noises from outside, which is always a plus. A great stay. Away from the chaos and craziness of Destin but close enough to enjoy the beaches and all that this area has to offer. Staff was very helpful and very nice. Breakfast was a 10/10 as there were different options every day. There was truly something for everyone. Fresh Fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, and a waffle maker! There's a Dunkin right next door as well as other dining options and stores. There was a staffing issue with the housekeeping, but when they did come, they were quick, thorough and very polite. Front of the house staff was extremely welcoming. Perfect for a casual getaway.

As a lifetime titanium member, this property was above average. From check-in to check out everything was awesome. I really appreciated the customer service that they provided.
