Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas Mansfield

Entered hotel and tried to check in. No one arrived to check us in for 10 minutes. After finally getting checked in, went to room. Everything in room was clean and in order. Left and came back several times and was greeted and acknowledged by person at desk each time. One weird thing is that the only clock in the room was on the microwave. There is no alarm clock. Went to the breakfast buffet the next morning. Everything was good and plentiful. Had scrambled eggs, egg and cheese omelets, hard boiled eggs, sausage, ham and egg sandwiches. Also had bread items, muffins, oatmeal, waffles and different juices plus coffee, tea water and hot cocoa packets. This hotel has ROACHES. I had a stay here during Valentine’s Day weekend and discovered a live roach in the bathroom on the last day of my stay. I spoke to a manager and was told the property was recently renovated and sprayed for pest. I was promised a refund and to date that has not happened. This was a gross and horrible experience and to top it off I’m a loyal Bonvoy member ☹️ I have photos to prove it.

This was a great experience the minute I walked thru the door. Whoever was at the front desk at 8pm on Tuesday 11/11 was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless. Looks almost new. And spacious. The lobby is clean. The woman running the breakfast in the morning is the real star of the show. Telling everyone and their dog good morning with a bright smile on her face. You can tell she enjoys her job. She was a real treat. Thank you for a great stay.

I booked my hotel room in August for our stay Christmas eve. We book this hotel every year when we are in town. I check in the day before and we get to the hotel the day of our stay at 3 pm and I'm told that the double queen suite room I reserved was no longer available. They upgraded and gave my room for myself and my family to someone else. We were down graded to a smaller room with one king size bed and a pull out couch, which was very uncomfortable. I've been a Marriott member for a long time and I've never had this happen. When I checked out the GM asked how my stay was and I told her how disappointed I was that this happened. She looked annoyed that I answered her question and just said "ok". Why ask if you didn't care? Again, I have never experienced this at any Marriott hotel nor t
