Best Western Plus Mansfield Inn & Suites

I came down to Texas from Ny to help my 90yr old mom. I stayed in this hotel for over a week. Service is excellent. Rooms are clean. Good morning breakfast. And Edward at the front desk went above and beyond to allow a longer stay. He is the kindest front desk person I have met during my travel. He's a keeper.

Positive: Room size, cleanliness, staff friendliness and breakfast! Negative: The room was a bit humid, even with the AC on low. Not sure if this could be fixed. I'm from Louisiana so I understand about Texas heat!

The staff completely didn’t communicate at all. I got 0 responses from them after my multiple attempts to message the property AND called them before our stay. We were traveling with 10 people as well. And we will never bring our money to a Best Western especially this one ever again. We will just pay the higher prices on others. Highly frustrating to have a bad experience with a bigger group traveling here from 2 states away.

Recent stay was disappointing, got the hotel specifically for the hot tub. We get in the hot tub and it wasn't hot, temp was in the 80's. Just barely warm. Then no towels to dry off with. Had to get them from the desk after sitting in a cool hot tub. Always ask if it's hot before you book. Lesson learned.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent stay was deeply disappointing. On the morning of checkout, someone came into my room and went through my luggage. This happened while I was still checked in and preparing to leave. I did not realize it until I got home. If you stay there, please lock your luggage. I am extremely disappointed and feel violated knowing that this happened in a place that should prioritize guest security. I hope management takes this seriously and implements better safety and accountability measures so no other guest has to experience this.
