Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chesapeake Suffolk

I believe Kristy or Kristyn helped me out, my dad works in construction and works late nights and we had several questions about a room being available. She was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable about the rooms and just an overall great person to help us out find the perfect room for our needs.

A fine place to call home for a night or too, nothing too much or too little. Orchid and the staff were all extremely welcoming and accommodating for us and our infant. Free breakfast was fine. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom could use a little updating but all was well.

The building needs updated. My room was sparce and the bathroom needs renovated. Staff were friendly the breakfast was decent. For my purposes the hotel was in a good location. Parking is ok. The building is very long and using side entrances were safe and convenient.

From the time I checked into the hotel, the experience was wonderful. As I stepped inside, I noticed the neat and clean atmosphere. I felt safe and relaxed. I was greeted by a very nice young lady, and the check in was without incident. We actually had a great conversation. Once I got to the room, I noticed that the room was very clean and well stocked. The room decor was pleasant, the bed was comfortable, and everything was in working order (of course). The next morning, breakfast was delicious. The ladies that are in charge of breakfast were wonderfully nice! The food was not only delicious, but the area was very well kept. Nice and neat, nothing out of place. When we got to our room we realized the ac was rattling like a jet we tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. Thete was mold in the bath tub and on the wall in the bathroom.|My husband who is 77 with many health issues went down to the front desk| The clerk was not receptive to changing the room at first then did. The new room had a working ac but the remote for the TV was dead. The bathroom especially around the tub needs regrouping this one was black. We are Bonvoy members but not happy at all. Hilton does it better.
