Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Asheville Outlets

Albeit long overdue, I am writing a raving review about my two separate stays at the Fairfield hotel in South Asheville next to the outlets. I stayed there on two different occasions in December 2025. The rooms were nicely equipped, and the hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Breakfast offered the standard Fairfield selections, and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with plenty of food available. Most importantly, I want to recognize the staff — specifically Miss Kendra at the front desk. She truly set the tone for our first stay. She went out of her way to accommodate our preferred room type and went above and beyond to make sure my guest felt special during her birthday weekend. Hotel is a great location if you're going to the Biltmore. But, I think we were imposingthe staff at check in. ||The room had several issues and we asked the next morning that they be corrected: The bathroom door would not close and latch causing some embarrassing moments, the HVAC rumbled loudly like a freight train, and the TV remote showed that sound was increasing but it never changed. We couldn't hear the TV over the rumble of the HVAC. When we returned we had a new remote that did not work. Nothing done to fix the door or HVAC. The front desk guy was busy in his phone so, give the late hour and his indifference, we didn't bother to ask for a different room. ||I also note that we chose to ignore the dirt and mold on the floor next to the shower and vanity. I mainly booked this hotel because was travelling with a boy and girl kids and they had an option for free roll away bed for rooms listed on their website. When we got to the hotel, they told us the roll away bed was too big for our room. I am not sure why this wasn't listed on their site that the beds were not available for all rooms. I wouldn't have booked here if I had known that, we ended up having one person sleep on the floor since the staff couldn't accommodate us, but perhaps my fault for not calling ahead to make sure it was an option for the room we booked. The free breakfast here was quite nice though, so we enjoyed that, it varied a little each day but the kids enjoyed making their own fresh waffles. Very nice hotel , clean, clerks are friendly, cross street is outlet mall, about 10  minutes drive  to blue ridge parkway , good location

Rooms are larger than most ... super clean ... the cost best anyone around..... now the free breakfast....... by far one of the best selections anywhere .... over the top from kids choices to adults.... I wld a stay here anytime...great job everyone!
