Extended Stay America Suites- San Antonio - Airport

The saying you get what you paid for stands true here. This started off really bad. Went to check in and was told the key maker broke and I would have to have the front desk clerk let me in everytime I had to get into my room. No eta on new machine and current one was too old to fix. once I got into the room, things didn't improve. I expect anyplace with a kitchenette to at least have basic silverware and plates/bowls. This place has nothing. The kitchen sink was dirty with some thick film. Bathroom tub and faucets were dirty and there was a roach that ran out from behind toilet after first time I used it. I've been a lot of place last 20+years with military and civilian and this ranks toward the bottom. Only bright spot was the poor front desk clerk who had to be the one telling people ab

Positive: The customer service of both the staff and the management (Both were wonderful to work with!) Negative: Location is easy to miss getting off the freeway. There wasn't continental breakfast, just a very basic 'grab & go' breakfast.

Very typical of an extended stay America. It was not a bad place. Just plain. The one thing that does bother me is that their housekeeping is only every other week and you don't get clean towels every day. I didn't see roaches so that's a plus

Blood on the wall. Hair and toothpaste in bathroom sink. Stuff from previous guest left on dresser. Strong mildew smell in room. Rude staff. Food crumbs in cabinets. Pretty gross overall.

This is a total dump. I should have checked reviews before looking. I checked in close to 9pm upon flying into San antonia. They had me go into 3 rooms and all of then were dirty or smelled of cigarettes smoke. They suggested i check out at this point after wasting an hour of my time. Front desk has no idea of conditions of rooms. I Suggest avoiding this place. There is Best Western close by that is way better.
