Extended Stay America Suites- Oklahoma City - Northwest

I chose Extended Stay America for Valentine’s Day hoping for a relaxing stay where we could cook and enjoy a clean, comfortable environment. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. After reading previous reviews, I honestly thought some might have been exaggerated — but they were not. Every concern mentioned is 100% accurate. From the moment we arrived, the hallways smelled strongly and were clearly not being maintained. When we entered our room, the bathroom trash can was already full, including cigar pieces, and the entire room smelled heavily of marijuana. What is most concerning is that management is aware of these ongoing issues yet nothing seems to change. Positive: There was an individual tasked with maintenance that actually checked on our concerns and made our situation tolerable. Negative: This was a two night stay and yes, we should have left, but trusted issues would be addressed. Our first room was without towels, overfull trash cans, trash under the bed and disengaged smoke alarm left on the bed. Room change: a broken bed frame and bugs

This hotel was once nice, but now it’s very old and ancient looking. However, Russ to come with a kitchen and living area.

Absolutely unacceptable. Upon entering hallway to elevator it smelled like 3 week old dead fish, there was dog poop in the floor, elevator was a nightmare on elm Street. When we got to the room the lights only flickered, never came on, cockroaches of all sizes crawling everywhere, even out of the drain, no sheets on beds, vomit in kitchen sink, bathtub cracked. Entrance doors locks were broken off, and there was people in the lobby bumming money. We told the front desk we could not stay and wanted a refund and got complete rudeness. We took video of the mess. Then we spent an hour after a 9 and a half hour drive trying to find a hotel so we could shower because we were itching and disgusted. Would have given minus star but had to give something to leave a review.

Probably top three worst experiences i have ever had in a motel/hotel/extend stay, first of all I booked a two bed and a pull out couch instead I got one bed and a pull out couch, I don't get to see my kids often so after driving 4 hours to see them I get to the room (209)and see im short on beds and to top it all off there was bed bugs on the pullout and the bed, the lights didnt work in the bathroom and the room reaked like kitty litter and facial. So knowing I don't get a refund I asked for a better room, they put me in 305, better smelling, still just one bed and a pull out, but no bed bugs, there was a broken TV on one of the tables and broken furniture in the closet, the last tenants trash was still under the sink and a bag was wrapped over the smoke detector hinting that someone smo
