Extended Stay America Suites- Minot

I contacted the hotel through Bookings multiple times for a resolution to this before posting a review, and received no responses at all. After checking in and going to my room, I found very unsanitary conditions. There was a drug spoon in the sink, multiple stains on the bed, no shower curtain, and the shower had almost no pressure because all the water kept coming out the spout. the front desk lady was no help and refused to even get off her chair, just pointing in directions and playing on her phone. I left the hotel promptly and stayed elsewhere, asking for a partial or complete refund for the days I didn’t use, through Bookings, and got no response. Positive: Very polite helpful staff. I enjoyed the quietness regardless of the hour. The bed was comfortable. Negative: If I have to point out anything negative it would be minor things like not having an ice machine. The other complaint would be nice coffee pot in the room although they will provide you with one you will need to have your own coffee. Free coffee in lobby.

The front entry of hotel was nice- wow large seating area with tables and chairs and looked like a bar set up- not sure what they use that for. Staff at check in lovely! Large room, lots of place for luggage. Large bathroom. Ice maker in fridge. Nice couch which was also a hide a bed!Carpet was light brown colour which shows every stain. Could I suggest a medium/ dark brown if you are thinking of replacing. I always take my shoes off at the door but guess things happen and the carpet gets dirty. Poor cleaning staff. I am sure the carpet was clean, like the room just stained. Oh well. Staff were very nice . And apologized for the few items on the grab and go. Web site said free breakfast for 4; but…. — Extremely Disappointing Stay Our experience at Extended Stay America in Minot was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the room was not clean — there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, stains on the carpet, and the bathroom floors were noticeably dirty. The hallways also had unpleasant odors from cooking, and guests are required to request all kitchen supplies from the front desk, which was out of several essential items. The front desk attendant seemed more focused on her phone than on assisting guests, which made the situation even more frustrating. We attempted to clean the room ourselves but quickly decided it was too unclean to stay. We chose to leave, and to their credit, management did provide a full refund. Safe, clean, quiet and cozy home away from home. Welcoming , helpful staff. 1 mi. to the nearest grocery store. Walmart and Mall which includes Target not much further away. Bus stop across the street if you would like to take public transportation. Lyft is readily available. Laminated and tile floors provide reduction in allergies. Outstanding weekly housing. No problem with free wifi. Lots of closet space.
