I checked in yesterday 2/28/26 planning to stay for at least a month. I'm traveling for work. I am traveling with my pet. They charge an extra $25 per day for the first 2 weeks if you have a pet. I could have stayed somewhere nicer for less money. I just called the front desk to get the kitchenware I need and they told me I have to pay $40 cash on top of the $350 pet deposit and $100 security deposit. For the amenities advertised as complimentary with the room. I don't carry cash. It's noisy, it smells like weed, the dog walking area is not maintained. I already paid for a week, but I won't be staying longer than that. If you need a cheap place to stay for a night it's probably fine. Bring cash if you want to make your own food.
Positive: Very clean room in a very quiet area. We never heard street noise. Negative: Breakfast was tiny muffins and bars. TV was small. Unit had no dishwasher. Dinnerware and cookware had to be picked up from the front desk. Only provided one set of dinnerware per person and little else. No measuring cups, spoons, nor mixing bowls.
Stayed here for buisness and the place itself was ok. The beds were horrible. My back was hurting after day one. After day 2 and check out Daytona back was killing me for two more days after that. There are cups or plates or anything in the rooms. Have to ask for everything and even then when you ask sometimes it wasn’t friendly at the front desk when i asked for one glass. Over all that’s why they got a 2.
We just stayed for a night to access the Houston Space Center, and for that it was fine. The room was clean enough, but much of the common areas look pretty tired. If you don’t need to stay long and can get it cheap, this hotel is fine. However, ownership should be aware that the hotel is drifting into the “well, at least it’s cheap so what do you expect” category.
Love this hotel, I've stayed here several weeks over time for work! The location is fantastic. Clean rooms, staff is very friendly. I really can't say anything negative. Especially given the price. Thank you!
