I needed a room last minute on Christmas. Pulled up to Extended Stay Saugus and saw a lot of other cars. Which to me is a good sign. Jerome at the front desk greeted me with a huge smile as soon as i walked in. Considering it was Christmas night and he was working, Jerome had an absolute amazing attitude. That goes such a long way when staying at any hotel. I usually feel like a burden to a service member at another hotel different hotel branch but here at Extended stay, and on Christmas, I felt extremely comfortable. The lobby was clean and the room was spotless. I didnt hear a single noise. Oh and check out is at 11am unlike other hotels. Thanks again Jerome. Our experience was horrible. When we arrived the greeting was very cold and not friendly. We got into our room and the toilet hadn’t been flushed, there was toilet paper in it. The tv didn’t work. The person at the front desk did get the tv to work. There were 3 tiny little pillows for 2 of us to use. Just 1 thin blanket. Wasn’t given access to the WiFI. The breakfast wasn’t really anything that I couldn’t have gotten at the local gas station. We were booked for 2 nights. The second night when we returned to our room, we were locked out of our room, so had to go to the lobby then wait for someone to help us get a new key. Got into our room and again the tv DIDNT work. Called down to the front desk, nobody answered the phone. Waited a few minutes called down again, the person at the fron

This is the spot to stay as far as Extended Stays go. Mostly due to Jerome who runs the front desk. Jerome is super professional, friendly with every guest, and is consistently calm / positive. A good dude. They have some other cool people on the staff too, and with Jerome they are taking it to another level.

My room was not the cleanest. I asked for supplies for the kitchen and was given one dish, one bowl, one fork and two spoons. The phone in the room never worked for the month I was there. I asked several times to have my room cleaned and went ignored. I asked for sheets and towels to change the and was disgusted by the look of the mattress. There were huge stains from I didn’t know what. Coffee and a little prepackaged muffin is not a continental breakfast and lastly I had to walk way to the end of the parking lot to throw away my trash. Absolutely disgusting and I will never stay at this hotel again and I will tell my future travelers as well. Very very disappointed traveler Room 109 Ronald DeLucia
