Extended Stay America Select Suites- Tampa - Northeast

Worst stay ever. Good notes: Check in was easy enough. The 2 burner stovewas cute. Other notes: Hallway smells like old wet towels. In the bathroom the towels and sink had long black hairs on them. I have red locs and my boyfriend is bald so definitely not ours. He goes to swap them out and says that we can only get new towels when we bring the old ones. Ok fine. I shower, wash my hair and I use both towels so he takes them back down to swap. He comes back with a single towel that is dirty when we open it up. Like old peeled skin stuck to the fibers or something. We take it down on our way to dinner and the front desk goes, "You cant get anymore towels without being charged". We try to explain that it was dirty and he says it doesnt matter. Amongst all of me getting ready. The toilet wasnt

Positive: Helpful polite staff. Girl at front desk was fantastic. Negative: Carpets in hallway on third floor (where I stayed) were awful. Worn, faded and dirty. Room did not have a hair dryer. For my level of expectation though, this hotel was fine.

It was a great experience,very friendly,very clean MaryAnn the Manager is so helpful and sweet . All the staff is very sweet. I love that it is so clean . I would stay here Again.

My room was never cleaned or sanitized before it was given to me to stay in. There were dead flies, live roaches in my room. There was so much dust buildup it seemed like no one had checked this room for weeks. There was dried food in the microwave. Weird food or liquid stains on the walls and even the ceiling. My toilet was clogged and never got fixed. The pillows had mold spots. There was either pubic hair or beard hair in the shower and dried gunk that was in the shower too. I reached out for help about this and haven’t been contacted to resolve what happnened. Their customer service team will not respond.

Not only the room smells like cigarettes everything was more than disgusting!! Thankfully I brought my own sheets cause im here with my son! First red flag was when I got here and the police was too 🤦🏼‍♀️ I called them to report it and they hanged up on me. Cockroach in the room 😭😭 I don’t even think I can sleep at all do not stay here and I hope they don’t charge me for anything cause I have to check out in a few hrs, just letting you all know that is not worth it to save a few bucks or stay here.
