Extended Stay America Select Suites- Detroit - Sterling Heights

I stayed here for a week while my property management team worked on my home, paying $450 out of pocket. Based on my experience, I’m under the impression that many of the positive reviews may not be genuine. The rooms are extremely outdated, and the linens were heavily worn and old. The manager, Bach, has a terrible attitude and should not be in the customer service industry. He is nonchalant, unwelcoming, and dismissive, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The only reason I’m giving two stars for service is because of Stephen and Stacey. They were wonderful, pleasant, extremely helpful, and welcoming. Honestly, they are the only positive aspect of this place and deserve recognition for their professionalism. Additionally, housekeeping does not service your room unless you stay for 1

This hotel is my favorite n main stay when I Mich period!! It's clean n quiet restaurants everywhere plus gas stations. Steven n bach run a great crew that is professional and don't procrastinate they get the job done!!!! As a traveler of many years I highly recommend extended stay America sterling hghts. SINCERELY A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

I have been a regular visitor to this location and have a favorable opinion. Clean room and common areas and a friendly staff, Steve in particular, make my frequent stays pleasant and a good value. Will continue to be a regular guest at this facility.

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel has mold m, trash was left under the bed in rooms one room had hair all over the sink could not even take a shower. This hotel stated I could not get a refund without management and they don?t come in on weekends.

It’s pretty decent for what you pay…just sucks you have to buy cooking utensils including silverware
