Extended Stay America Select Suites- Chattanooga - Airport

Check in was bizarre. If you arrive after midnight, like I did, there's no one at the front desk. You have to call what I assume is their national customer support extension from the free phone outside and then someone from the hotel comes down to check you in. Employees look baked. Room was fine but the bed was rock solid. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel so if you wanna go somewhere you'll need a car or an Uber. I stayed solely for the location near the airport. It was fine for a night, but I wouldn't stay for anything longer than that.

You can get past the loud cars on the freeway. You can ignore the fact that there's no elavtor. Yet the laundry is $4 to wash then $4 to dry, the staff keep them pretty occupied. Then you get to the fact there's no ashtrays yet the staff wants to fuss and cuss others for the mess, even when the guest who they are chewing out had nothing to do with it. The price is amazing but you will never see a maid or get clean linens or towels, literally nothing. The same staff member who cusses guest is also the one who leave the front desk way before loddy closes then gets mad when you ask for help. I've seen them clean the stairways once in three months. They came by once to do a room check and walked in without permission. We had to repeatedly get a new room bc the hotel staff didnt clean the rooms

We checked in Friday 2/13/26 and was given a room on the 3rd floor. The shower leaked the next morning, causing a huge amount of water to pool into the kitchen. When I went to request a different room the next morning, we were told we weren't supposed to even be in that room due to renovations and we could move, it would just be a few hours due to cleaning. When we did get moved, the room we're now in is dirty. The microwave has food stuck to it, there are spices (or something) spilled in the cabinets, everything is dusty, like no one has been here in a long time. The walkways outside are slippery even when the weather is dry. There are people up all hours of the night acting like tweekers and displaying really weird behavior. We're paid until Saturday the 21st, but we will not be back.

Its is affordable and you absolutely get what you pay for...and a little extra. The service is always friendly and with the rooms, you get the essentials. You get a clean bed, a fully functioning bathroom with a hot shower, a full kitchen including a dual stove top, microwave, and full sized refrigerator, a flat screen TV with limited cable options, free wi-fi, clean sheets and pillowcases upon request, and an on-site pay laundry facility. There are many handicap accessible rooms, they are very pet friendly, though not every guest cleans up after their animals so watch your step if you cut through the grass areas, and the convenience of the location is second to none. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and they are just minutes away from Hamilton Place Mall and the Chattanooga Airpor

Positive: Privacy, security, and the provided accommodation Negative: The manager was a bit rude, although every other person I met that worked there was absolutely wonderful. The room wasn?t quite clean, I moved the chair and there were old candy wrappers and crumbs underneath. A bit of mold in the bathroom.
