Everything about my trip was wonderful! Good location across the street from a gas station and 7-11. It’s within walking distance of many places in the Whittaker. The room was spacious. Service was sweet. The TV didn’t seem to work but thank goodness for cellphones! Overall a great stay for a fair price.

By far the best service I have ever had staying in a motel or a hotel for that matter. The people who manage this place go the extra mile to ensure you have a great and comfortable experience while staying here. Never before have I ever seen such care, empathy, and altruism in motel or hotel workers. I highly recommend this place over any other location in Eugene! Edit: I would also like to make a few comments in regards to the negative reviews I've seen. The people who run this place keep a very vigilant eye on their property and do not allow any "riff raff" to come around. As far as "people living here," the owner graciously allowed victims of a fire in the surrounding area to stay at their motel to help them while they regained their footing. This 2-story motel will appeal to those who seek an inexpensive clean lodging for a short stay. The room was very clean, the air conditioner worked and the towels and complimentary toiletries were adequate. On the downside, the furniture was aged and battered and the overall atmosphere a bit grim. The neighborhood is mixed. Eugene's homeless challenge was on full display but there are some very good restaurants, food trucks and a delightful beer garden and patio within a few blocks. We didn't feel unsafe walking to them -- at least during the daylight hours. For those looking to explore Eugene on foot, the riverfront, rose garden, 5th Avenue Market and Saturday Market are within a walk of 20 minutes or so.

Owner and her husband both live on site, as well as other people. There was a sign that said "Thank you for not smoking" I read as I watched the owner smoking next to it. They were unprofessional and rude, it was very unsafe and sketchy. Police sirens all hours of the night, and awoken by a nearby train at least twice a night. A few bugs here and there, but it was just dirty in general. Uncomfortable beds, flat pillows, dirty couches, stick surfaces, just bad all around. Also very unsafe, homeless people around, sketchy mobile home in the parking lot, bad locks, had to barricade the door to prevent people from coming in. Also, very false advertisement. No free breakfast, no housekeeping, no free wifi. If you cant afford it, dont lie about it. I've been in bad rooming situations, but this b
