Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Eugene East/Springfield

The king-size bed mattress was of poor quality. It was extremely bouncy, and even the smallest movement caused noticeable shaking. The room doors closed very harshly, creating loud noises that could easily be heard in other rooms across the hall. The windows were not properly sealed when closed, allowing noise from passing cars and conversations in the parking lot to be clearly heard. This was especially noticeable despite my stay being on the fourth floor. Aside from hand soap in the bathroom and three bags of low-quality coffee, no additional amenities were provided in the room. However, the front desk staff, breakfast-area staff, and housekeeping team were all very kind and helpful, and I would like to thank them all.

Definitely nice rooms! Very clean. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. I will say, the doors are VERY loud when they close and it was a bit startling when your neighbor would close their door at 11pm. Also the breakfast wasn't very impressive. The bacon was very overcooked, the eggs were very very fake I believe or they at least tasted like it and the texture was very bad, the bagels were kinda stale and the muffins were still 3/4 frozen when I went to eat one. But besides breakfast not being great we enjoyed it there, again it was very clean and very nice, VERY expensive but a very nice hotel overall.

This place punches way above its weight… in terms of cleanliness, room quality (especially the suite with sectional sofa), breakfast and particularly staff. ||||Natalie at the Front Desk is a true star. She is courteous, kind and utterly professional. Thank you for making my last two stays so enjoyable. I look forward to my next!

This hotel is located off of I-5. It shares a parking lot with 2 other hotels. The parking lot was well lit and we were able to park very close. The hotel was super clean and the check in process seamless. The front desk person was very friendly and efficient. I love the room layout for a family. We were in town for a family event so having a closet to hang the clothes and the iron and ironing board were very helpful. I love having a microwave and small fridge in a hotel room, especially since we had been traveling all day. The lobby is open and inviting and there are plenty of tables for the morning breakfast service. There is a nice gym and small indoor pool. Chantel, who claims to be the AGM, was very rude over the phone, due to a medical emergency, where my doctor insisted I don’t get on a flight, causing me to need to change my business plans since I am flying to work. I kindly offered to send over proof of medical emergency, she abruptly cut me off and told me she “doesn’t care” then hung up on me mid-conversation. If you travel for business I do not recommend this place at all. Good luck explaining to your managers why a 2 star, bed bug infested hotel wants to exploit their credit card for $100+.
