Misleading, Noisy, Unsafe, and Absolutely Not What Was Advertised This was, hands down, one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve had not just uncomfortable, but outright misleading and potentially unsafe. The property was advertised on the map as being near the Munising lakeshore, but in reality, it’s 3.5 miles away on a noisy highway, with constant semi-truck traffic and engine braking that made it impossible to sleep. If I had known the real location, I never would have booked this stay, being near the water was the main reason I chose it. The unit claimed to have a "mini kitchen." In reality, it had no stove or oven, just a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a sink so tiny a dinner plate wouldn’t fit inside. We brought groceries expecting to cook and couldn’t. There was also

Absolutely loved our cabin!! It was immaculate! Cozy and romantic for my husband and I. We had everything we needed! These cabins were well thought out and designed, even down to the remote control blinds for the windows. We enjoyed a fire at night. Firewood was provided as well. It was quiet and peaceful. Very convenient location. We hate to leave!

Communication was terrible. I never received an email with household manual and access instructions like the confirmation email I received told me I would. When I contacted the company via text message as the email I did receive suggested nobody texted me back. Luckily someone had called me a few days before so I had their number and they were very helpful. My GPS would not locate this place based on address provided. It took us to the west side of the freeway instead of the east. Since we had never been to Munising we had no idea what was up in this small town. Upon final arrival, we found that The unit itself is very cheaply put together. Cupboards feel like they are coming off, I had no instructions on how to use anything. Explore Munising exceeded all our expectations for a long weekend family trip. With four cabins rented, we were blown away by the beautiful accommodations. Every detail has been considered, from a white noise machine to a washer/dryer combo, ensuring a comfortable stay. The views are stunning, and the private waterfall path is an incredible bonus. A perfect taste of Northern Michigan at its finest!

When we arrived found that two of the four electric blinds did not work. The sun was was pretty intense and having the shades closed would have helped. I contacted the customer service via text to let them know that they weren’t working and the admitted they knew they weren’t working. They said since they have been so busy they haven’t had time to fix them. I was a bit surprised that they hadn’t offered us another cabin since there were a few open. I asked if they would move us just a couple down from our original place but they said they would have to charge us $100 a night extra ! I added that the coffee maker also wasn’t working and the response I got was “i will let management know” , not I’m sorry for your inconvenience we will get you a new one. What happen to customer serv
