EVEN Hotel Brooklyn by IHG

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The hotel and the room were spotless, which made a great first impression. Having a workout kit in the room, along with a fully equipped gym, was a fantastic bonus. The staff was available 24/7 and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed—especially during the snowstorm, which really showed their professionalism and kindness. The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the convenience of the free water and ice machine on the floor. The location is perfect, just steps away from the subway. I would happily stay here again!

Stayed here from 26–28 Dec 2025. Rooms are clean, modern, and spacious, which is the main positive. Unfortunately, service was disappointing. Check-in staff were not welcoming, and the USD 25 breakfast is not worth it—very limited options and make-to-order only, with no clear instructions for guests. I specifically requested scrambled eggs without pork, but was still served eggs with pork mixed in, and the staff seemed irritated rather than helpful. This is unacceptable, especially for paying guests with dietary restrictions. Good rooms, but poor service and overpriced breakfast hurt the overall experience.

Charisma’s level of hospitality during my stay was impeccable! Before I even arrived to the hotel, Charisma was already helping me with my stay. I needed a room change at a very short notice and Charisma was able to seamlessly help me do that. When I arrived at the hotel, Charisma and the rest of the staff were very friendly and the check-in process was a breeze. During the last night of my stay, in the wee hours of the morning, I had an issue with my key card, and once again, Charisma came to the rescue. She prepared me a new key card and even sent a member of the maintenance personnel up to my room with me to make sure that their wasn’t an issue with the battery in the door. I’m very pleased to have met Charisma, and thanks to her, I had a very nice stay at the Even hotel!

My stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was generally comfortable, though there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many eateries nearby, and several train lines within a short walk, making it easy to travel to any part of New York City. The neighbourhood felt safe overall, despite a shooting incident that took place nearby during our stay.The room itself was not super clean, and it contained several exercise equipment items, which may not suit everyone. While the concept is unique, it made the room feel a bit cluttered.That said, the hotel’s surroundings and accessibility remain its strongest points. It is a practical option if you value convenience and easy access to transport and food choices.

Our stay at Evens hotel in Brooklyn was wonderful. Our room attendant, Sangay was absolutely lovely! She is very detail-oriented and so kind. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. She definitely made our stay worthwhile. Thank you Sangay!
