Emerald Isle Inn

We stayed in a sunny corner room at Emerald Island Inn and loved the quiet, comfortable setup. The kitchenette was perfect. We prefer cooking many of our own meals, and it had everything we needed. Vic was especially helpful with transportation, which made our stay even smoother. Great location, thoughtful hosts, and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay! The rooms were super clean and had everything we needed (including a kitchenette with a stove/oven), the location was walking distance to everywhere we needed to go, and the owners were as nice as could be. We'd definitely stay there again if we ever come back to the island.

The Emerald Isle Inn is a great place to stay on Beaver Island. Vic and Anna (the owners) really took care of us. The Inn is well-located in St. James. You can walk to everything in the little town. Vic and Anna gave excellent guidance on the restaurant options, as well as things worth seeing on the island. The Inn is located a block off the harbor. Although we chose a suite with air conditioning, we didn’t need it due to the lovely lake breeze every night. Vic offered to rent us a van for a couple days so we could tour the island. There are many beautiful beaches to enjoy, and we particularly liked the southern shore. You can’t go wrong staying at the Emerald Isle Inn.

Emerald Island Inn is a great place to stay if you want immaculately clean and comfortable accommodations, walking distance to the town’s restaurants and shopping, and outstanding hosts! Vic picked me and my wife up at the Island Airways Airport when we arrived and took us on a tour of the town, waving at all the folks we passed along the way. Anna checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They even let us rent a Jeep so we could explore the island on our own. Anna visited with us on our day of departure and Vic took us back to the airport. We could not have asked for a better experience on Beaver Island than getting to stay with Vic and Anna at the Emerald Island Inn.

The Emerald Isle Inn is a gem of a hotel. Vic and Anna do everything to ensure your stay is top notch - comfortable, clean, quiet room, beautifully and smartly decorated, hot shower, equipped kitchenette, located within easy walking distance of the port ferry, although Vic kindly chauffeured us to and from. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much - we highly recommend this hotel.
