Customer Reviews
Other than a convenient location, this hotel was nothing but a big disappointment. The whole floor smells like marijuana. Floor carpet all dirty. Breakfast & happy hour decent, but not great. If you think you will be able to enjoy the pool or hot tub be aware that it’s not going to happen, as they are capitalizing with the indoor pool and have kids classes till late night. There’s a schedule and on a Saturday at 8pm still classes going on. Will not come back.
We stayed two nights on a weekend to attend a nearby family event. The room was very nice, and despite traffic on the street below, we got two good nights sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast. We got our room cleaned both days, which is getting rare.
Positive: I enjoyed the complimentary happy hour and how close the restaurants are in proximity. The staff were also so kind Negative: I think the bathroom could have been a little cleaner but otherwise the room seemed clean and great
We just finished our stay at the Hyatt Embassy Suites in Washington, DC, and we’re ending our trip on a very pleasant note. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly — warm greetings, genuinely pleasant interactions, and a clear effort to make sure we were happy throughout our visit. The rooms were clean, though a bit dated. Some of the plug sockets were loose, but they still worked fine. It was quiet at night, and while the beds were on the firmer side, I still slept quite well. The shower pressure was on the low side, so it took a bit longer to clean up. Breakfast was solid, and the team working there was very friendly. They’ll make you an omelet exactly the way you like it, which was a great touch. A big plus: our parking was fully validated by the hotel, so we di
First night here and the HVAC (heating) system is so loud, I had to turn it off in order to get any sleep. But then it became freezing during the night and the morning. Went to the front desk and was told a technician will come by. Still waiting and I have zero expectations. Not a good start. Otherwise, the hotel is old and dated. Feels like only the bare necessities are done. The bed is old and creaky. Things just generally look old. During the day, there’s traffic in front of the property and being on the 3rd floor, you can hear the honking, etc. Hoping to have my room switched but I’m not expecting anything to happen. I don’t recommend this place. There is a Residence Inn not too far from here that I stayed before that is far better and I regret booking myself at Embassy Suites. UP
