Embassy Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District

Clean, friendly bar with a great atmosphere. Alexis was an excellent bartender, welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The bar was well kept, service was solid, and the overall vibe made it an easy place to relax and enjoy a drink. We enjoyed our visit.

Positive: Good value. On the edge of the historic district but within walking distance. Room was quiet. Concierge was extremely helpful. Free morning breakfast buffet had an omelette cook and was great. Free happy hour drink tickets were an unexpected surprise. Negative: Our room needed more electrical outlets.

Excellent hotel with high ceilings and very spacious rooms. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit on the fifth floor, and everything was beautiful. The view of the bridge from the window was absolutely stunning. The location is great, with convenient and easy parking. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey. The hotel has gorgeous Christmas decorations inside and very polite, professional staff. The only thing that was disappointing — and unfortunately this seems to be a recurring issue at many Embassy Suites hotels — was the bar staff. I travel a lot, and for some reason the bar experience at Embassy properties often feels unfriendly. On the first evening (Monday), the fireplace was on and created a wonderful atmosphere. This hotel has spacious rooms, a great breakfast, good location within walking distance of most restaurants and shopping. What sets this hotel apart is the staff! I reserved a block of rooms for my daughter's wedding, everyone I came into contact with was so friendly and helpful. Ro & Reatha at the front desk were phenomenal, every time I spoke with them they were gracious, kind, and super helpful. The event staff was very attentive and helpful also! Highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

I booked straight through the Hotel. I spoke to Detra, and she made the entire booking experience absolutely nothing a pleasure. I even took the Hilton rewards and I'm going to take another trip which I cannot wait to take in the near future. If the Hotel sees this please take time and make sure that Detra is compensated somehow. She is the perfect example of a shinning personality as well as what customer service is all about. I look forward to traveling there with my wife to celebrate her birthday in March.
