Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Brooks Hotel & Spa

My other half and I have been coming here every year for the Valentine's Day dinner. It's very quiet and they do not disappoint. The dinner is wonderful. They give the ladies a rose and they offer chocolate covered strawberries. It's quiet and romantic. The manager always recognizes us and I think that's so sweet. We stayed in a room one year and that was a great experience. Beautiful room. Would definitely recommend.

I checked in early today for three nights for my anesthesiology congress this weekend. At the time the lady in reception said she would text me when my room was ready. Okay. I appreciated the room probably wouldn’t be ready early. I’m Hilton Diamond and often they will sort things early for us as they have done in my past where possible. No recognition was made of my status at check in. And no offer of courtesy drink and snack which was due to me too. I found that disappointing to say the least. I went into town then came back and sat at the pool at midday. At 15:40 after I had heard nothing I went past reception to ask the position. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Embassy Suites, and especially about Morgan. I called earlier in the morning because my mom was in town to speak at her cousin’s funeral, and check-in wasn’t until 4:00 PM. I was hoping they might be able to help her access the facilities so she could get ready. From the moment I spoke with Morgan on the phone, she was kind, compassionate, and incredibly accommodating. She made sure my mom and my niece were taken care of as soon as they arrived. Not only did she ensure everything went smoothly, but she also surprised them with the sweetest little goodie bag — such a thoughtful and unexpected touch during an emotional day. Pretty good embassy suites. I had a large U-Haul with an attached trailer and there was more than enough parking for me to take. Of course they didn't have an issue with that. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was friendly enough and provided everything necessary aside from one thing. That thing is a detail about the two complementary drinks (I believe due to my membership status). Unfortunately, the receptionist only mentioned drinks and nothing about how it didn't apply to mixed drinks. So I bought two mixed drinks thinking it would be free for me but now I'm stuck with an unexpected charge. Not too big a deal but beware of it if they offer it to you.
