Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs

This should truly be a 2 star hotel. Nothing 3 star about this experience. Trying to find any positive from this reservation but there was nothing. The lights were not working in the room. The carpet appears new but the rest was gross. The mattress smelled. There was a lack of options for the complementary happy hour. The bartenders were helping everyone that walked up to the bar before helping us sitting at the bar for 30 minutes. If you wish to relax in the whirlpool, guests who had no regard for dog allergies had their big dog soaking in the hot tub with them. When reporting this to the front desk, I said we need some compensation of some sort. We purposefully picked this hotel with a whirlpool. Never heard back from front desk when I told the woman about this disgust. Breakfast 7-10 on

I give the hotel a one star. Because from the outside, it looks nice.But on the inside in the room, it is not very clean. There is hair in the beds. The bathtub had mold on it. Very much outdated. The walls looks dingy on the inside. And had a terrible smell. I do not recommend this hotel to no one. To enter dentals is a hundred and fifty.The same as the room. I would expect that for a really nice hotel.But this is not.

Positive: The restaurant/bar staff for dinner and breakfast were really helpful and courteous. Negative: The check-in clerk could have cared less. I did not like the open balcony from the upper floors to the lobby. Anyone with issues being at heights will freak out.

Extensive improvements are underway here. And, we still had a really nice stay. A few of the elevators are out for upgrades, but there are elevators scattered throughout, so no worries. All the service people are wonderful.||Kudos / Thank yous to Charlie, Ron and Monique in the Breakfast area. We were here on Thanksgiving, and the place was mobbed with people. All three of these folk hustled and got the job done! I did not see Charlie stop for one moment! He was always prepping dishes for the dishwasher, replenishing the pastries and oatmeal, cleaning tables, doing everything to keep the room running! Absolutely a dumpster fire right from the start. We checked in and went to our room. 86 degrees. Went to the front desk talked to Khalaya and she said no problem ill call maintenance. 45 mins later we stopped to talk to her again. Well 3 hrs later I catch the maintenance guy in the hallway and ask him to come check it out. Truth is, he was never even informed of the problem. Shes a liar, she lied to everyone that came to the desk that night. Free drinks and reception, what a joke. The wait for the drinks 45 mins. Food at the reception- Gone in 10 mins. Very dark in the entire hotel. They dont tell you they are doing construction when you book online. Its a mess all over. Paint buckets, tore up carpet, tools etc. Breakfast same story. They had 2 people working. Food was empty, no plates or
