Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center

We stayed at this hotel numerous times before the pandemic when we saw shows at the Performing Arts Center, and it was nice enough that we kept returning. This time, however, was not a good experience and it's doubtful that we'll return. When we arrived at check in time, the line to check in was out the front door of the hotel. We had checked in on the app, but apparently the room wasn't ready on time and we couldn't get the app to give us the electronic key. We left to grab dinner, and the electronic key was finally delivered to the app during dinner. Six pillows in the room, and every one was terrible. On Sunday night, March 8th, while arriving at the Embassy Suites Hotel, I had the pleasure of interacting with the Assistant Front Office Manager, Ms. Shaunna. From the moment I approached the front desk, she greeted me with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude. Her professionalism and positive energy immediately stood out the most. Ms. Shaunna demonstrated outstanding customer service and took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered. She went above and beyond to ensure that guests felt comfortable, valued, and well taken care of. Positive: The suite was nice! Excellent breakfast. Staff in the am were very nice. The mattress really lowered the overall experience. Negative: The king size mattress was very uncomfortable. It squeaked with any movement. It was sunken in on both sides. It was very low to the ground too. We booked accessible room due to husbands mobility and it was too low to get out of easily. He used sofa bed.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Embassy Suites in North Charleston, SC by the Airport for 91st Annual NAEOP Conference. 10 out of 10 I will stay here again. My first Shaunna the Asst. Front Office Manager was the best. She saw the look on my face of being exhausted, tired, and ready to go and lay it down. I was a little upset about not having my King Bed, but I got over it really quick. Shaunna provided excellent Customer Service, she listen to my concern, will multitasking other duties, and she handled everything very well and like pro that she is. Although my service was not the best I would like to take a moment to recognize Shaunna, the Assistant Front Desk Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton North Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention for her outstanding customer service. Upon my arrival, Shaunna was extremely helpful, professional, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to assist me and made sure I felt valued as a guest. Her positive attitude and willingness to help truly made a difference in my experience and set a great tone for my stay. Excellent customer service like hers deserves to be acknowledged.
