Great float!!! The staff handled everything with ease and kept things fun from the moment we arrived. The rafts were sturdy, comfortable and well maintained. The river was absolutely stunning and it turned into such a great bonding experience for our crew. Would 100% recommend for groups of any size!

Shout out to Rylan! He always makes sure our float is stress free and taken care of! If you’re wondering which campground/floating service to use, I assure you, Elk River Floats is the one to choose. I am never disappointed after a day on their river !!! And don’t forget to stop at Shadow Lake (great spot for when you run out of drinks)

Honestly this spot is one of my favorites to camp on the Elk River. It’s NOT where I would camp on a weekend during the busy season, as hundreds of people stop at the bridge to party. I’ve seen people fighting there too. It’s when you go during the week day and no one is there does this place shine. The bridge is great swim spot, especially for skinny dipping :) . They sell ice and wood, and you can start your float trip right at your site or float to your site. Bathrooms are decent, as they are just that, camping bathroom facilities. They have let a natural berm of grasses grow up so there is not river view but it’s still an easy walk to get to the river. Please note- there are trains that go through the area at all times of day and night, do not camp here if you can’t handle the tr

If you want to pay real good $ to look at the “view,” WEEDS & TALL BRUSH on back patio of the cabins (our neighbors too) blocking everything and half of it had thorns! My 2 year old thanks YOU!! The grills provided are literally falling apart. You have to drive to a beach access point due to the overgrown vegetation, yeah…it’s that BAD. No Pool as advertised in Mid June LOL. I can’t make this up! I’ll never get my money back, SAVE YOURS!!!!!!!! Negative Stars ⭐️

They weren't expecting to be busy or something for a beautiful Saturday, because we showed up at 9 AM and did not get our boat in the water until almost 1 PM. Otherwise, great weather and great float.
