Off The Deep End Cabins

The staff are very nice. The grounds are very nice. The rock "dock" is cool, but kind of hard to swim off of because there is not anywhere safe to really get into the water. There are big rocks right next to the steps, there is no beach area for kids unless you swim across the river. So, maybe not the best place for small kids who want to swim. The website needs updated, it says they have tv's in the cabins but they do not. The air conditioning does not work the best. But it was clean, and pretty well kept. You will not have a stove or the ability to cook in your cabin. So plan on doing that in their " rec room" or eating out. Over all, I wouldn't pay 140 a night to stay here again.

Beautiful house with river view and comes with a limestone dock allowing for river access. A huge kitchen great for large family, as well as plenty of outdoor seating. The fire pit has a great view along the river. There’s an old style log cabin on the property, as well as 3 additional cabins. This property would be great for family reunions or retreats. Elk River Floats provides shuttling services straight to your door so there’s no hassle with floating. High recommend this private, scenic oasis.

Hosted our employee appreciation banquet event here this fall. The property was spacious yet cozy. There was plenty of parking, great space for a buffet in the kitchen, tons of seating inside and outside, and a river view from the kitchen, living areas, and all the outdoor spaces. We ended our night around the firepit. Although this property is in town it does not feel like it, it was quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place for any event or retreat.

Beautiful property right next to the river with a nice landing and steps down to the water. The cabin was small but tidy and had everything we needed and we spent most of out time outside at the fire pit or in the river. Chris and Christian are excellent hosts and will help out however they can! I cannot wait to go back. Being picked up for our float trip was a bonus! Its not a five star hotel but way better than tent camping!

This small "inn" has 4 cabins and upstairs room. The cabins have two beds, a futon, mini kitchen and bathroom. There are also grills off each porch but another large community grill off the main house. It's on a large deck as a common area with lots of seating. Was perfect for our large group of 12 to gather for dinner each night, cook and eat together. The deck overlooks the Elk River and is very peaceful. They also have a fire pit with seating for 12+ that was a perfect evening hang out. And another deck sits down on the river to lay out and get in the river to swim or cool off. A local float company picked us up there to float the river and we got out at the inn and the boats were picked up for us, as recommended by the owner.
