Eldon Luxury Suites

There are small maintenance items (i.e. wood damage) that haven't been taken care of. My room still had evidence of prior leaks that had not been fully addressed. So, if you're looking for a place with zero outstanding maintenance items, this is not the place for you. Wifi seemed ok, but timed out on some websites. I used my hotspot and the websites worked fine.

Booked this hotel for my husband and he loved it. The room is as pictured and the kitchen area was great for him as he has his morning routine. Would recommend to anyone that wants a home away from home.

Very generous suite with a full kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Condition of the place is a potential issue. It's definitely clean but certainly worn. Stains on the sofa. Fraying on the carpet. If that's an issue, this place isn't for you. But in general the place is in good shape. If you can deal w/ a few rough edges, it's a very good bargain.

The location to the Convention center and restaurants is ideal. Other positives: The suite is spacious and uncluttered. The kitchen and appliances were another plus. The housekeeping staff was friendly & prompt. Now for the negatives. We had a street facing room. The windows didn’t seal (drafty) well and let too much noise and smoke. There’s only 1 small tv, that’s inadequate for a suite that size. There’s room for improvements to make this a desired hotel.

I strongly advise not booking this hotel. We had to cancel our stay due to an unexpected winter storm traveling from New York to DC, but the hotel refused to cancel or refund our booking. Despite multiple calls, neither the hotel nor Booking.com took responsibility—they kept pointing fingers at each other, which was very confusing and frustrating. There was no compensation, no rebooking option, and no assistance offered. In the end, we had to contact our credit card company to request a refund. The lack of coordination and customer service is unacceptable. If you value flexibility and support during emergencies, stay elsewhere.
