El Camino Real RV Park

I really dislike leaving bad reviews for businesses but this Rv park would have been great if the full timers were more respectful. We were in spot 33. I highly recommend NOT getting in this spot. The people in 34 are full timers and they are disrespectful. She has came out and told me to shut up because my dog barked at her cats because they were under our camper. the same cats that messed up our campers under belly and got in to the installation and etc. I mind you we’ve only had the camper TWO MONTHS!! I told the owner about the cats and what they did and nothing changed. They are loud and don’t care about the people around them.. We stayed here 18 nights in Nov/Dec during the Natchitoches Christmas Festival. We did a lot of sightseeing in the area and took part in the festival activities. Perfect location for what we did. The owner gave us the monthly rate and prorated the nights we stayed there. THANK YOU!! $15 per night for full sewer, water and electrical. The owner is pretty much hands off and I kind of like it that way. Pick a spot, tell him how many nights you are staying and pay him in cash or Venmo. This RV Park looks like most of the guests are people working in the trades. People stay for a month or two while they are working in the area. Trash scattered around, nothing abundant. Gravel lot. Drive way up through rv park is bumpy. Erosion on drive left difficult access to rv site. 40 per nite, way much. I would do it for 25 smell of septic profound.. I do not recommend.,, also internet access is non existent. Even the owner admits to that.

This is a campground waiting to happen. Lots of issues. No one on site to tell you where your site is, and although I had numerous emails from them, not one told me what site I had or how to check in. I learned from other campers that I had to call to get my site number. We then gave that information to people who came in after us. Our site, 22, was very unlevel. In retrospect, we should have asked for another site. Although the site is 40 feet long, the back several feet slope downhill and are unusable. Sites are very close together. Many campers had more than one vehicle and there was no room for parking a second vehicle. Our site was on a curve and it was difficult to determine where the edges were.

I travle for work the guy said pick a spot and I did it's perfect for what I'm here for no complaints has laundry and restrooms back in spots with a yard and plenty of room and pull through spots
