Egret Point by Spinnaker Resorts

The location is excellent and the villa is beautiful. My spouse and I stayed in Egret Point villa room 4536. On Wednesday January 21st, without notice, the water shutoff and the phone stopped working. I was halfway lathered up in the shower during the shutoff. I had to wipe all of the lather off with a towel. Since the phone was not working my husband had to get in our car and drive a few blocks to the main office to alert staff. Staff was unaware of why water was off and sent maintenance. Maintenance contacted his boss and was told that the water was shutoff due to an emergency and would remain off until at least 2pm. They didn’t respect guest enough to alert us of an emergency resulting in extensive water termination service. Maintenance opened another unit for us to go shower in until w

Overall our three bedroom unit at Egret point was clean, comfortable and very quiet. ||All bedding, amenities and kitchen items were exactly what they needed. ||The only reason we cannot give 5 stars is that there was no parking near our unit. ||Loading and unloading luggage, groceries, etc was a tedious and long process. ||Adding 22 stairs at the end of 84 walking steps from the vehicle, wouldn't have been a big deal if not for the fact that we had to do that with every cooler, suitcase and bag that we needed. ||The workout room, activity center and general entertainment added no value to the unit as they were pretty minimal and couldn't entertain the children for more than a few minutes.

Clean, repainted, upgraded and beautiful view of the pool! We're planning on grilling a lot! We came here two years ago and loved it, so we're back! Spinnaker is not very helpful but I get my questions for them answered by Google thank goodness. We placed our account and password in Sling on the TV because basic cable is unappealing. Of course we need to watch sports.

The condo is clean and cozy. Mattress and couch was comfortable. All the appliances worked. Only issue is at our time of stay the pool was not cleaned. The bikes provided made getting around fun and easy. A little confusing as to what you have access to because check in is at another location that has an indoor pool and activities are held at waterside down the road. But I’m not sure if we has access to indigo or the other properties around. Keep in mind this place is like staying at an Airbnb with a public pool. It’s not a solo gated resort. Great condo by the beach. Rooms were clean and staff was supportive with maintenance issues. All resolved within hours after one call which is huge. Pool was great and private beach was nice as well. Would go back if it wasn't for an 12+ hour drive.
