Edelweiss Lodge

Problem with the shower. First we had to get maintenance to come over and turn the shower on since the shower knob was broken. Maintenance walks in with wet boots all over the carpet and the bathroom. They didn't fix the shower but we were able to have one hot shower. When we returned from skiing we had to call maintenance to turn the shower again. We asked for another room but they said we would have to return before 3 pm which would impact our skiing time. Maintenance took about 30 min to get the water warm to work. My daughters went to shower in another room and they ran out of hot water. I don't know if that room was cleaned afterwards because they told maintenance not to go into the room after we were finished with it. Really disorganized. When my girlfriend asked for compensation

The lodge is very peaceful and quiet, the rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It’s smoker friendly with some amazing views on the porch and balconies. I even left a charger and the staff were nice enough to make sure I got it back. I would 100% come back again to enjoy the beautiful scenery and cool activities.

I was not looking for the Hilton, but when the stairs move as I walk up to the door that's a problem! Maintenance seems a bit lacking here. The cleanliness was also an issue. There were cobwebs cluttered in the corners clearly visible. These where not high up and could have easily been reached by hand. There was trash and dust behind furniture also. The shower curtain, no matter what, was open on one side due to the rod being loose. I even got lucky enough to run into a small nail head sticking out of the wall. Here's the good... Its close to a lot. So if you're a young adult this place is perfect. Plenty of stuff to do in walking distance. Bars galore for those who drink.

Felt a little catfished lol. Its so bad it was comical. It was clean and safe, so fine for a night if your in a pinch I guess. The room isn't at all what it looked like in the photos; super tiny, heater didnt work, water temp didnt work, there was a whole in the floor that was covered by carpet, no sound proof between walls, electronic lock was out of battery when we showed up - so took a bit to actually get in our room. If we were able to move on we would have. The experience was similar to camping.
