The Rooster's Den

Stayed at the Rooster's Den at the end of July 2025: The Pros - The home was big and could comfortably fit the 9 adults and one child that were with the group. The open design of the kitchen/dining/living room was conducive to an even larger group. The pool table in the basement, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit were nice additions to this home. The Cons - The home was dirty. The main entrance was covered with numerous spiders. Yes, this place is in the forest and bugs are common but the spiders seemed to be permanent residents instead of new guests. Upon entering, the home was noticeably dusty. The corners of the ceiling, the piano, the tables, etc. The hot tub was not clean either. Yes, the water was clean but the interior of the hot tub was dirty and needed to be scrubbed. The jets had b

Really nice place and enjoyed our stay. It offers plenty of room and a variety of spaces for different entertainment needs. Heat was a little uneven but not enough to bother using the additional space heaters. Management was attentive. Instructions were clear and fair. Clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed.

We go golfing every year at Holiday Valley, and we stay here. Some updates this year. Always clean. Very nice place, sleeps a ton of people and the price is great. See you next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed the winter get away here. Kids were constantly sledding, playing pool or relaxing in the hot tub. The adults enjoyed every minute of it also!

This is such a cute place to stay. It has so much room. Everything is nice and clean, and it makes you feel at home. It is the perfect place to stay on vacation.
