Eddy's Motel

This is a very old motel that is in fairly good condition, clean and well maintained. The beds are decent anwhile they boast a kitchen in every room, I only had a micro and fridge. Maybe the kitchen was behind a blocked off doorway I noticed. But overall very nice. You can tell this place has been updated recently with new flooring, appliances and T Vs the prices are very reasonable. It's a cute place. Going to stay next time through.

The rooms are cozy, with all necessary amenities, the beds are comfortable, and the managers are wonderful! It is quiet at night, they don't tolerate trouble. Coffee and breakfast bars in the morning, and a working ice machine. The A/C and heat work well, and the shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. There is a restaurant / casino next door, and a Safeway across the street. You're just a couple of minutes from Uptown, on two major bus routes, and two blocks from the Interstate. This is the most affordable place in town, we will definitely stay again!

The staffs friendliness doesn't cover for the fact that the rooms were bad.They gave us the room that the heater couldn't shut down and it was 90 degree outside, so we were moved to another room. The shower didn't work and the towels were stained. The bed was like someone just used it without changing its new sheets before we used it. They were very smelly. And the carpet was wet and disgusting. It was one of the most unclean motel we ever visited.

Right off the bat, the blinds were missing pieces, I couldn't connect to the WiFi, the water pressure was iffy, and the surrounding area undesirable. But the beds were comfortable, the staff friendly (though seemingly inexperienced), and the room clean and tidy. Overall, a nice place for a late night stop.

The room looked good. The bathtub looked like it was permanently dirty, so we did not use it. Our air conditioner did not work properly; it would turn on and off because the outlet it was plugged into was not working. We noticed at night that it was even arcing and sparking, so we unplugged it. The window was set up to not open; it had no screen and would not stay open. Since the room was hoping, I propped the window open at about 1:30am and the room finally started cooking and we slept better after that. This was my only big complaint. Other than that, our stay was pleasant and the room was decent for the price.
