Garner Hotel Butte Southeast by IHG

Just a quick sleepover while traveling through town. We got in around 11pm, didn’t check out the pool, gym or laundry services. The place is clean, but a few parts are being renovated. Our hotel smelled like fresh paint, which I didn’t mind. Shower had good pressure. Black out curtains. Good bed. In the morning, we grabbed some breakfast before hitting the road. There was a decent amount of variety for breakfast, including waffles which tasted amazing. The staff attendant was working hard to replenish the food. She was amazing…. Making sure everything was taken care of, clearing and wiping down tables, greeting everyone, polite conversation. This was a great stay! Thank you!

Sarah deserves a raise she is the best! Treated us with such kindness and care, went out of her way multiple times to make our stay better! Rooms sufficient, location fine in regards to the town and setting. Overall service was great but Sarah went above and beyond so thank you!

The Garner is the former comfort inn with a nice remodel and refresh (with exception of the room and bathroom doors they look original) It is in a great location especially for those in town for sporting events and swim meets (close to the Y). The staff is very friendly, helpful and great recognition IHG status, welcome amenity and cookies available at check in along with coffee/tea/hot chocolate anytime. The offerings are on par with Fairfield, and BW Butte Plaza Inn. The queen rooms are good sized and have the sink outside the bathroom which is a plus. A mini fridge, microwave and lots of plug-in around the room are quite helpful. Breakfast, Bed’s and Pool are on par for this tier of hotel. ||The only cons which is why it’s not a 5 star review is ||Room temp: the room was hot and we had

Positive: nothing Negative: they were under construction/restoration, NO WHERE on the site did this state it,.Front side hotel was cover up for painting & backside of hotel storage for restoration supplies & trailers limited parking. room description said coffee makers in room NONE

It was not a pleasant stay at the Comfort Inn, Butte. Everything in the hotel looks and feels old. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, he was surprised. Apparently, I am the first person to say this hotel is dated. But they are doing a massive renovation anyway! The bedsheets and blankets had stains, and the bed was neither clean nor comfortable. The bathroom has no towel hanger! For some reason, the AC stopped working and I had to wake up a few times. The breakfast was very basic. If you get the room along the highway, you might hear big trucks all night long.
