Economy Inn Wentzville

Here is my experience: The booking and card assignment was expedient. The first room I was given was room 313 and it was a mess. There was still trash in the trash can, a left bottle, and the bed was undone. It was clear that housekeeping had not done their job properly with this room. I went back to the front desk and let them know the situation. They assigned me another room without delay — 405. The room was mostly clean except for the WiFi password written in permanent marker on the mirror, one used hand towel, and the bathroom wasn’t “dirty” but it seemed as if some previous tenant was playing with paint or whatever and the tub is full of a bunch of messy stains. The shower curtain was clean. The towels are pathetically small. These are the smallest towels I’ve ever had in a hotel

I had a very late check in at midnite because of a late flight. It was hard to find in the dark. Luckily google maps knew where it was. I was very happy someone was there to check me in. I came back 15 mins later and they provided change for the vending machine cheerfully. The room was clean and the mattress comfortable. Definitely budget though, scratchy towels, cheap soap. Plus no coffee and rolls in the morning. There's an area for it but it was empty. Overall, okay for the price.

Room was filthy!! I booked from Booking.com… the rooms shown online are not true. I asked to see the room before paying…the guy said NO! I booked the room. When I entered the room I did an inspection. There was thick urine trails all around the the toilet and a thick ring inside. I asked for them to clean it. The shower curtain was molded. Food left in fridge. The was had not been cleaned period. There’s no refund and that’s how they BULLY folks for their money.

Rooms unkept,four guys in the parking lot drinking playing music and cooking on a grill. Drunk guy sitting on the stairwell as I went to my room. Accused me of smoking in my.room merely because I had tobacco because I roll my own cigs. Dirty fridge. Dirty chair. Tears in lampshades. Couldn't understand front desk people due to limited ability to speak English. Over all a bad experience and will never return
