Econo Lodge Sevierville-Pigeon Forge on the River

There are so many positive reviews for this place, that I was swayed to stay here. We love a good budget hotel and are no-frills guests. I wouldn’t consider a standard security latch a luxury feature, but all you’ll find is a simple deadbolt on these doors. The bathroom has a fan built into the light, which during our stay hauled in the smell of pot. The balcony was also unusable due to the same prevalent pot smell. Seeing ducks out the back sounds charming, but the environment was not. The police made two early morning visits to the Lodge during our stay. Once to wake and question the guest in the room next door (scary to wake up to at 7am) and once with a fire truck. Everyone was so nice! We decided to come a day early and the were able to not only accommodate, but also keep us in the same rooms. Everything was clean, quiet and close to everything. Its not really a complaint, but i did have to ask for clean towels on the fourth day. From what I was told they don't do your room unless you ask. Environmental thing or something. Over All though, we had a great time and loved it.

The location was very convenient, not too far from the Parkway. The room was very clean and spacious. There was a little patio outside our room that provided view of Little Pigeon River. Staff was great. Check in and check out was quick and easy. We will definitely stay again.

My daughter and I stayed one night. For the price I paid, it was what I expected. The gentleman was kind and courteous. At check-in we put our things in the room, which is when we decided to stay out as late as possible to minimize the time we’d need to be in the room. We checked in LATE and checked out EARLY. We booked a two queen room but only slept in one since one bed had visible signs that the sheets had not been changed (hair / dirt). Some modern updates but it’s still an older building. There are ceiling tiles in bathroom, the thick grout lines on bathroom floor appeared dark and dirty, but for the most part things were clean. We had a room with 2 queen beds. Really nice size room. Had small table and 2 small chairs. Nothing real comfortable to sit on in the room. Bathroom was super small, but shower was nice with hot water. Some water stains on walls and a few cracks but that doesn't bother us. Had a very small patio out back door. Price was great and would stay here again
