Econo Lodge Midtown

Everything was booked this weekend in Savannah. This place looked “decent” from the pictures. We got there and realized it was not a safe environment for us but especially not for the kids. It’s more of an hourly establishment. Rooms were filthy. Drawers were disgusting. The bathtub looked nothing like the online photos.

The hotel room was cleaner than I expected from the way it looked on the outside. The people outside knocking on the door and talking loud all night and early morning. Police were called to the room next door. It’s sketchy looking outside with drug addicts and homeless people wandering around. The price is good and the air conditioner worked well. The towels were thin and scratchy feeling. The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant.

The hot water has been fixed, the shower water pressure was excellent, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the staff I've dealt with are all extremely nice and helpful. For the price, I can't complain.

Clean room very basic no frills coffee available in the morning. Friendly staff . Very busy road located in Front of motel.

The room was untolerable smoke smell, roon was dirty. Even after a room change the next room was still smoke smell. Some guest was very loud in the hall way. Very disappointed stay. I had plan to stay 3 days end up cutting short to 1 day only.
