Econo Lodge Kingsport East

This has became my go to spot when working in the Johnson City colonial Heights Piney Flats area. I was very surprised. The first time I stayed here. Rooms are well maintained given the price range you’re paying to stay here seems to have been recently updated. And they offer a three bed room. Which makes it nice when sharing room with coworkers definitely an option. I have not seen anywhere else.

The staff are great with any questions or concerns you may have. If you need anything at all they are right on it. Cindi and crystal are great! Always nice and always have time to chat while doing what they have to do work wise. They keep the place running smoothly. A major plus is there is a cat 🐈 that has been the hotel concierge for 2 years and he is very sweet and welcoming. 'Little boy' Makes sure everyone feels right at home for their stay and he is cared for greatly by the staff. He will also welcome pettings for a treat ha ha . Recommend anyone taking the time to visit!

Great location right off the highway at the top of this enormous hill. I don't know if we would have made it up if the weather had been worse! No restaurants nearby, but they do offer a complimentary continental breakfast. Rooms are small but with newly appointed quality furniture, nice microwave and fridge, excellent room heating. Clean linens. Warm blanket. Very clean. Well lit parking. Plenty of hot water and the hot water tap is instantly hot. The towels are generously sized and all the linens are new. New mattress, and bed bug-dust mite resistant cover around the mattress.

The two cleaning staff people were Indian people they were amazing great hospitality wonderful individuals made me feel comfortable. Always asked if I needed anything. Very happy with the service Grow at the front desk Crystal amazing. She went out of the way over and over again to make sure I was happy And another gentleman. I think his name was Babu or also Indian very very nice gentleman. I’ve stayed there twice once for two weeks once for a week no complaints.

Positive: The room was comfortable and clean. The morning staff was friendly Negative: The continental breakfast was cereal and honey buns. Orange juice and milk from the fridge in shared containers. Evening staff kind of were short.
