Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Chambersburg Central

My husband and I stayed for a night last weekend. The girl at the front desk had to call the owner about our reservation. The hallway to our room and room smelled like skunk weed. Talk about contact buzz. The pictures on the website are false. The rooms looks nothing like that. People talking and banging in the hallways in the middle of the night. Bugs in the bathroom. The tv in the living area did not work. I don’t know how this place passed fire code with what was all plugged into the receptacles. Nobody at the front desk to take our room keys when we checked out. Had to call someone to let them know we were leaving. Would I recommend this place no. Will I stay there again no.

This hotel needs to be tooken down, very unlivable or rentable. They take no pride in fixing or doing anything about bugs. They're kids staying at this place why should children have to deal with this crap. Jay needs to get into a different field of work,they all just do nothing to help make your stay any better either just get mad when paying customers complain. Like your job as a manager is to exceed the norm and go the extra mile. This hotel needs to be torn down or turned to someone who would actually turn this place around would be a good branch of the extending red food. Which is better than this hotel, boarding home,slim whatever you call this place. He raises prices whenever he feels and this place smells of weed,feet,and pee. Nobody needs to spend money in dirty rooms your better

First room - tv doesn't work, no tv remote and telephone does not work. Second room - tv does not work, and bathroom sink has debris that looks like it overflowed and they drained the water, and large square hole under the bathroom sink. Third room - coffee table legs were very wobbly, bathroom faucet very loose and LAST but not least there is a mouse in the room. The hallway smelled liked mothballs. If it was not so late and we were exhausted after driving for 10 hours, we would have demanded our money back.

I was in town for one night, all hotels were booked so had to try this. Looked like Section 8 housing might also be living there. I called Choice Hotels and asked if they ever check and Inspect their hotels and she said on occasion!! Huh... Two other people left the hotel when I did, one said it was filthy the other said there were no sheets on the bed. Ended up going to Walmart and bought a pillow, blanket and baby wipes, slept in my truck, brutal to say the least. Zero stars but had to leave one to get this submitted.||NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!||REALLY CHOICE HOTELS???? You can do better.....

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Roaches EVERYWHERE! Everything in the vending machine is expired. Rats running up and down the hallway slipping under the doors going in people's rooms. Nobody is ever at the front desk, you have to wait AWHILE just to get help. We checked in there was no towels in our room. We asked the housekeeper for towels all she said was "idk" over and over again. So we went to the front desk to tell the manager. He said he would tell her to give us some. Days later still no towels. Housekeeper will not clean your room during your stay. They clean the room before you come and after you leave, that's all. The website online says they do free breakfast and have a pool and gym. That is a lie. Yes they have a pool, but you cannot use it. The water is gray and poss
