Econo Lodge Hot Springs South

I recently stayed at Econo Lodge and had a really pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated how quiet it was at night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the manager, Sherry, truly stood out. She was welcoming, professional, and made sure everything was perfect during my stay. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy thanks to her and the team. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and I would happily stay there again!

Numerous reasons. Flys were a serious problem in the room, no luggage cart, no breakfast as advertised, necessity of calling on a phone for someone to the desk for both checkin and checkout, and maybe most importantly, no hot water for shower or bath. I don't believe this to be an isolated problem---in reading past reviews I find it has been reported several times in the past few months.

Positive: Room Negative: It took a 40 minute for the water to heat up nobody ever clean my room no clean towels no breakfast

Stayed here for a work trip on the last week of September… it was BAD! - Stairwells infested with bugs and windows terribly cracked - said bug infested stairwells got vacuumed once the entire week I was there because there were dead bug bodies lying there all week - no hot water the week I was there - the elevator finally got fixed while I was there… but only kinda… only went to 1st and 3rd floor. - no breakfast despite breakfast area. The garbage can in that area was full all week but had not been taken out. - looked like there was cereal in the plastic container in the breakfast area that hadn’t been touched in months - they have a pool… but not one that’s well taken care of. Looked really slimy when I was there. Couldn’t see the bottom of the deep end from the little bit of cloudiness

New owners bought the place and improving it. I felt that it was very affordable and very clean place to stay. I highly recommend it. I do however recommended that you understand that they are clean up the mess from the last owner. .. should be patient. Please be kind when you review. Understand that it is under new ownership and undergoing many changes.
