Eastside Urban Farmhouse

I stayed here for 3 months over the summer in Milwaukee, and it was an amazing experience. The house is beautiful, cozy, and very welcoming. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, making it great for cooking. The garden is lovely and a very peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The location was perfect, very peaceful and safe, yet within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and other activities in the city. The hosts, Holly and David, were absolutely wonderful. They were always friendly, responsive, and willing to help with anything we needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-kept home with fantastic hosts.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming 1897 farmhouse! The home is beautifully decorated with so much character, yet has every comfort you could want. Everything was thoughtfully put together. The owners were absolutely amazing—so welcoming, kind, and attentive, making me feel right at home. Every detail was perfect, from the cozy atmosphere to the little touches that made the stay special. I can't recommend this place enough!

Let me start by saying YOU'RE WELCOME! Why? Because I'm sharing just how fabulous this hidden gem in Eastside Milwaukee is! My stay here was awesome! Holly and David did an AMAZING job on restoring the Farmhouse. It's tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home. The central air and heat works beautifully and the shower is heavenly. The size of the kitchen is great, and has a full sized refrigerator and has all the essential items you need (plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc). I especially appreciated the supply of delicious local coffee along with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher liquid etc. Another plus is you are literally a block away from two great restaurants, Tess and The Original. And last but not least, the garden area is so peaceful and beautiful. You

My stay at the Eastside Urban Farmhouse was JUST what I needed in January: Quiet, cozy, comfortable, calm and charismatic! I was in town for a quick visit with friends, and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. They even helped me with a few "essentials" that I had forgotten in my haste to get out of town! The Farmhouse decor was lovely and inviting, the layout practical and neat. I easily found everything that I needed - from towels to extra pillows, wifi to coffee- plus lots of natural lighting! My only disappointment is that I was not able to stay longer. I look forward to coming back during warm weather to enjoy the beautiful garden and yard!

We rented both the upper and the lower flats from Holly and Dave while returning to the U.S. after decades abroad and waiting for our shipping container to arrive. The house could not have been more welcoming in our return. The house in both winter and summer, upper and lower flats, was cozy (and cool in summer), super clean, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated with both local art and gorgeous plants. Holly and Dave are responsive and unintrusive landlords whose care and love of their house extends to its tenants.
