East Bay Inn

Great, cozy, boutique hotel perfectly located for exploring historic Savannah. We stayed here three nights on our first trip to the city. Rooms had a lot of charm. Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially handling baggage for our early arrival and late departure. Nice coffee shop/bar attached and delicious restaurant downstairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at East Bay Inn was a pleasant experience overall . The staff was friendly, the location convenient, free cokes, free water , free popcorn in your room . The room was pretty clean I guess seemed like it had not had a real good cleaning in a while . It was very cute though with ear plugs and even a noise machine to block out the noise on street. |They have a great restaurant connected to the hotel , and a bar . The hotel gives you coupons for free glass of wine or beer for each day for each person in your party. |The only reason I have 4 rating is 1) the carpet desperately need to be replaced it was very stained and old 2) the mattress needs to be replaced it had a sink hole lol 3) at night the female desk person was never there we would call no answer when we walked out front no

My wife and I spent 5 days in Savannah and can confirm that the East Bay Inn is a fabulous place to stay! Located steps away from the Savannah River and River Street which features many great choices for dining and sweets! The staff at East Bay Inn are excellent. They greet you with a warm welcome each time you enter and are very attentive to your needs. There is always delicious hot complimentary coffee available in the lobby (right next to the elevator) along with an assortment of sodas and water. The rooms are huge with beautiful hardwood floors and antique furniture. The bathroom is fully featured including a hair dryer. Positive: Everyone and I mean eveyone was very KINDWhere I live, it is not the case...special thanks to the team there. Negative: A charming boutique hotel, I like the lobby and bar and the restaurant had particularly good salads and service.The rooms are small and difficult to lay out but once i got the hang of it, all was ok.

Best location ever, absolutely love this hotel. Historic and very quiet. I traveled with my daughter, Savannah can be a little rough in some areas. We were so thankful for the location and the staff. We felt very welcome and safe. The rooms are very spacious, including a sitting area. All the amenities are updated , while still having the charm of a historical building.
