Eagle suites Extended Stay Hotel, Oklahoma City - Airport

I recently booked a weekly stay at Eagle Suites OKC Airport and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. On the first day of my stay I found a bug crawling on the bed. After closer inspection it was clearly a bed bug. Checked the mattress and saw the shedding of other bed bugs (picture provided). I immediately left the room and notified the front desk. I was told the manager would be available the next morning and that they could simply spray the room, suggesting I stay out for the day while they treated it. At no point was there any mention of removing or replacing the mattresses. Which is not a sufficient solution for a bed bug issue. DO NOT STAY HERE‼️‼️‼️I have been staying at this property for a little over a week and my experience has been very disappointing. When I paid to move in, I was told one thing over the phone, but something completely different happened in person. The unit I was shown during the tour had dog urine on the floor and I was assured it would be deep cleaned before move-in. However, the room still smelled strongly of urine and I had to deep clean it myself, which is unacceptable — especially with children. The environment does not feel safe. My kids witnessed a fight on the property that resulted in a broken window and police being called. There are people openly smoking and using drugs outside, dog waste all over the grounds, and inconsistency with security presence. Maintenance and facility is

On first arriving here I was a bit skeptical. I had called and inquired about 2week stay. After speaking with The very welcoming Ms.April I had agreed to come and see what they had to offer. Was sold after she showed me around. I could tell she was genuine when speaking of how they were cleaning the riff raff out , so people felt safe, and comfortable. How they were still a working progress. But things take time, so give them room to grow on, and I would see. This interaction alone is what made me stay longer than my initial inquiry.. She didn't pressure me , she was honest and that's rare .just talked. It didn't take long to see that something was off. This place would be better if the staff they have at the front office was professional instead they are rude and unprofessional. The lady Maranda and the man Ivory are rude and unprofessional. When you go to them about fixing things they never come or when you pay for your room they screw up and gets upset with you because they programmed the wrong room key so they have to remake it after hours when it’s not your fault. Then when you try to be understanding they tell you that they don’t have to do anything after hours even when they are here on the property and it be their mess up. My room when it snowed awhile back had ice on the inside of the window I explained it to both of them and still they did nothing

Decent quality for a weekly/monthly stay facility. They offered clean rooms, free wifi, a fenced dog potty area, on site laundry, & ATM in the lobby. Downsides: NO ROOM OR MAID SERVICES... EVER during your stay, the general few miles in the area are heavy with prostitution, homelessness, & drug activity, noisy neighbors (inside rooms & outside areas) at ALL HOURS, non traditional hotel front office hours, extreme foot traffic, and don't be shocked to see the area riff raff sleeping in the stairwell. The AC / heating unit was disgusting in both rooms I occupied during the 4 month period with heavy dust coming in the 1st floor unit, but don't forgot the occasional cockroach who wasn't helping pay rent.
