We went for the 2-bedroom cabin for the week. We travel a ton, and man was it nice to be in a place with bedrooms and a kitchen. The staff is super friendly. The place is very safe so you can open up windows and doors to let in the nice cool breeze. Aside from towels and cleaning supplies the cabin has everything you need. I recommend bringing a travel-size dish soap, sponge, towels, and some Clorox wipes to clean up after cooking. There is a small store with limited supplies, should you need it. The nearest grocery store is about 40 minutes away. There is bedding provided and the beds are made up. A broom was also provided, which is great for someone like me who always drops stuff. We went out on the water almost daily, and as first-time boaters, we had plenty of help getting in and out
We had a wonderful stay at Driftwood Lodge this summer. The staff was service-oriented and customer-focused. Upon arrival, Dawn throughly explained everything we needed to know about the lodge, fishing regulations, and events. While working the docks, Jason was very attentive, knowledgeable, and the fastest fish-filleter we could have asked for. We had many laughs on our guided fishing trip with Kolby, who taught us about the different species of fish and animals living in the region. ||The cabins are rustic, but dry, warm, and clean! There are the most beautiful sunsets every night and lots of fish to catch. The location of this property is remote, so it is important to take everything you need for your stay. There is a gas station and outdoors store nearby. Overall, this family-oriented
The cabin #6 is rustic with exposed 2x stud walls, 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and other with two singles. Kitchen with stand alone range, fridge , microwave, coffee maker and sink. A 3/4 bath, shower with good water pressure. No AC, so bring fans. Great view of the lake. The boat docks easy in and out with a dock attendant who will fillet your fish. Please note the dock attendant is expecting a $100-$150 top at the end of the week. Fishing was not good... during the Mayflies hatch when we were there.
Had a great family trip! The dock fishing was phenomenal. We stayed in the Walleye cabin. Plenty spacious for the 5 of us, and loved the brand new furniture.
First off sorry for the delayed review. My family was up in end of July and we loved it. Gorgeous location, amazing lake, pretty good fishing for mid July as well. Few walleye and some big northern and perch kept us entertained. Musician Blind Joe plaid on the dock and sounded great. Service was great and very friendly and helpful. Cabin was a little more rustic than my wife thought it would be but overall served its purpose. We will be coming back. Additionally thank you for supporting DU.
