The room was so disgusting then come to find out waking up that morning. There were roaches in the bed when I go tell the front office to see if I can get a refund or maybe another night in a different room. She said she couldn’t do that. And tried to blame the housekeeper for them having roaches , which is unacceptable. Never have I ever had an experience like that at a hotel.

Pulled into the Downtowner car park and the owner came out and looked at me as if I owed him money. Tried to check in and then the guy said my credit card didn’t work. I told him to put the card in the machine before you put the pin in. He looked so disappointed when it worked. The guy need to learn some manners. The room was Ok but pretty noisey. Don’t come her if you want a quiet time. Went for breakfast in the morning but there was nothing there. We were told that breakfast stopped at 9am. This seems a bit early and it wouldhave been nice if it had been mentioned when we checked in. Don’t come here if you believe in common courtesy.

What a great hotel! I was here over New Year's, by freak of flights and circumstance, for two days. Staff is friendly. The property is clearly very well kept and cared for. My room (226 in the back) was large and roomy, and clean. Hot water, big screen TV. Fine location--you can walk to Hobby in about 25 minutes from here. A decent (if overpriced) BBQ restaurant is beside it. Nice little breakfast bar. Good price, everything was great!

Spacious and Clean Rooms, Disappointing Breakfast The rooms at this hotel were nice, clean, and spacious. Its proximity to the Houston Botanic Garden (about 6 minutes away) was a major factor in our choice, as we had an event there. We also selected this hotel based on its advertised breakfast. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing. It consisted solely of water, coffee, honey buns, blueberry muffins, cereal, and a waffle maker. The lack of hot food options was a significant drawback. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to those seeking a substantial breakfast. The only restroom available in the dining area was also out of order.

Really enjoy the place I have been coming here for years every time I go throught houston I stop here the customer service is awesome.
