DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Melbourne Beach Oceanfront

I love the Doubletree Melbourne Beach! Friendly staff, lots of delicious cookies, great location and view. To get up to 5 stars from me, though:| 1. Needs car charger on site.|2. Could stand better water flow in the shower, and at times it takes way too long to get hot water there.|Would I stay again? Definitely.

I can’t say enough about the fabulous service we received during our weekend stay! Everyone was so accommodating and helpful from checking in, room service, checking out etc. This is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and will certainly stay again. The rooms are beautiful, clean, & very comfortable. The only things I would change is getting new pillows, the shower floor could use some bleach, & change out the tv in the bedroom area to a smart tv. We were able to watch more channels in the living room but not the bedroom. The king sized bed was very comfy and we spent one of the coldest weekends Melbourne. Positive: It's by the ocean and it's roomy Negative: I ordered a room for 4 guests. I only had a king and a sleeper sofa. The sofa was not comfortable.

I wish we had skipped Disney and stayed here longer. The 3 days we stayed here were the best part of our 2 week vacation. The room was so nice, the beds were so comfortable and clean. The location was amazing. Even in winter the beach was absolutely beautiful. There’s lounge chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards you can rent on the beach and a shower/foot wash at the end of the dock so you don’t bring all the sand back to your room. It’s close to great local restaurants or dining in was pretty good too. The breakfast buffet was a great value for $20. We will definitely book here again! We paid extra for the ocean view and got a ground level room which was so nice to have a private patio and be so close to the pool and beach! I’d request this room again! (104)

Beds were very comfortable, AC worked very well, Ignacio was a fantastic server and housekeeping was also great. That’s the only good I have to say. Here’s the bad. 1.) Waitress at breakfast says water and juice is right over there and points to the buffet area, so when she asked if we wanted water or juice from her we said no, expecting to get it ourselves. No water, no juice in the buffet area. That’s fine, I’ll just pour some for myself out of the pitcher by the table, no big deal. She sees me do this and explains what servers are for like I’m 12 years old and says “I asked you!” Well next time refrain from stating it’s located somewhere when it’s not. We were trying to be polite so if you’re in the weeds with 4 guests those are your emotions to deal with not ours. 2.) Ordered an orange
