DoubleTree by Hilton Jamestown

We loved our stay at the Doubletree Hilton in Jamestown! The location was perfect to walk to all of the city attractions, and some excellent restaurants. We loved the huge windows in our room and spent a lot of time looking out over the city. The decor and lighting were very pleasant everywhere, everything was clean and in good repair. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and fitness areas looked nice, but we did not use them. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was quiet. The stay was very affordable, we would go out of our way to stay here again.

Let me start by saying that I generally love Doubletree hotels by Hilton. Unfortunately, I had the worst experience here out of any hotel I have stayed. Why have online check-in, if that is not counted as “check-in.” We were marked as a “no show” and charged for arriving late, which honestly made zero sense. We had prepaid for a no -refundable-but the person working on 2/19-felt it was her duty to reprimand us for being a no-show. She had an absolutely horrible attitude which was very unwelcoming. The room was ok-(not the looks of a hotel just built in 2021)but we had people screaming across the hall from us and after asking for assistance-nothing was done. Positive: The breakfasts and dinners we had were delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was exceptional. The toiletries were of the higher end Crabtree and Evelyn brand, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable!! Negative: The location was not quite as good as we would?ve liked but the hotel itself was excellent!!

The whole experience was like coming home...which is what I was doing. The staff was warm and friendly, from the front desk to the bartender. The room was cozy, the view of downtown Jamestown at Christmas was amazing. Thank you for making it such a great part of our trip. Short walk to everywhere downtown Jamestown - so many dining and entertainment options. We went with Wicked Warrens and it was amazing!

We stayed here for one night at the end of September for a weekend trip. We booked online through the Hilton app using points. We did I quite about adding a second night when we arrived but they were sold out. The room was clean. This was a double room and the night stand was between the two beds so if you are here as a couple and you both need an outlet near you to sleep, you probably are going to need both beds u less you bring an extension cord. The pillows were not comfortable for me. The room was spacious enough for one night. We ended up parking on the street in front of the hotel because there were no spots open in the flat lot.
