Clarion Pointe Jamestown - Falconer

I stayed here once previously and had a lovely stay. This time was less great. There was black mold in the bathroom, one of the sconces in the bathroom was not working, there was a dirty sock next to the safe as well as an empty case of some sort. The hotel was not full; I am sure there were better rooms available.

Adequate accommodations, with friendly and helpful staff, and easy on the budget. But you get what you pay for. No USB outlets anywhere in the room for charging electronic devices. The front grill (air intake) of the HVAC unit was very dirty. The breakfast is adequate, but not extravagant - the only hot item being the make-it-yourself waffles - no fried or scrambled eggs, sausage, or anything like that, which are typically provided at other hotels that advertise a hot breakfast.

Zero stars, I was mortified. Lesson learned. Traveled with friends and picked a real loser. I selected Clarion because of past experience with the brand, Previous stays were always good. This hotel was dirty, musty, filled with smoke smell, questionable things on the walls. My travel companions had holes in the sheet and stained sheets. |I always compare trip advisor reviews vs chain reviews. This time my cell service was really spotty while trying to select our accommodations and I wasn't able to do that. I trusted the brand, mistake! Indications are that the hotel is trying to save money, the room was uncomfortably warm and things were unplugged. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No frills stay at a reasonable price. Breakfast bar had a good selection but you needed to be there early. Staff was helpful.

You walk in it does not look like the pictures it’s rundown. It smells like smoke. It has homeless and sketchy people in the front lobby. It may be a huge hotel for homeless and illegals. The rooms are very dirty. The tubs and toilets are not cleaned. The room smell like mildew. These people come in and out the side doors all night you cannot sleep.
