We had a great stay at the DoubleTree Hotel in New Orleans! The location is perfect close to all of the must-do activities and makes getting around the city incredibly easy. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff truly stood out, especially Will from engineering. Our room wasn’t heating properly, and after one quick call to the front desk, Will was at our door in less than five minutes. He was extremely polite, welcoming, and professional. Not only did he get the heat working right away, but he checked multiple times to make sure everything was running perfectly. We’re now sitting in a warm, cozy room getting ready to take on the New Orleans nightlife. Huge thank you to Will and the entire DoubleTree staff for such great service we would absolutely stay here

Positive: Cookies were a nice gesture. Rooms were very comfortable. Bathroom and showers were excellent. Staff were really good even under the pressure of finding rooms for us. Our rooms were cleaned EVERY day which we really appreciated. Negative: Service in bar/restaurant was poor. Rooms not ready until 5pm and this was a long travel day for us. No heat in our room but we didn't mention it until later in our stay and it was fixed immediately.

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans was absolutely disgusting, unsafe, and unacceptable—and it occurred on my birthday, which made the experience even more distressing.|We encountered bed bugs, evidenced by multiple bites on two guests that occurred overnight while staying in the hotel. These bites were not present prior to check-in. We also discovered mold and spore-like objects embedded in the bed sheets, along with visibly dirty, unsanitary linens. This is a serious health hazard, not a minor housekeeping issue.|One of the rooms also had a strong sewage odor, making it completely uninhabitable.|When we reported these issues, management—specifically Jameela—instead of showing empathy, was hostile, dismissive, and at times threatening, showing little concern for guest safety or w

The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. I was initially assigned to a room on the 15th floor, but the shower had mold in it. After I called the front desk to report it, I did feel like my room was downgraded when they reassigned me. The next room wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t as spacious as the first one. On the new floor I was moved to, either the ice machine or the vending machine seemed to be leaking because the carpet in that area was wet and it smelled like mildew, which was a little unpleasant when walking through the hallway. Aside from those issues, the hotel is in a really good location. It’s an easy walk to Bourbon Street and other nearby spots, which made getting around very convenient.

Loved this place! Short walk to Bourbon St, Jackson Sq, and Riverwalk! Antoinette checked us in and she was amazing! Very sweet and welcoming! Room was clean and the complimentary cookies were delicious! Highly recommend!
