DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown

Decent location, four blocks from Broadway. The heating system does not work well. The hallways were very cold and the rooms were hard to regulate the temperature. The shower would not drain. The linens and the toiletries were very nice. The maid service was good. They came to the room everyday. This hotel definitely needs some TLC!

While hotel staff, valet, front desk were very nice. Upon arriving at our room, 632, it smelled strongly of mildew. Turned the HVAC down to 65 to stop it from running. The hotel was sold out so we could not change rooms. Called down and had maintenance come a spray deodorizer all around room. The next morning when turning on the HVAC smell returned. Glad we were staying only one night. Breakfast was good, service fairly slow and in no hurry.

Positive: The location and the hotel staff were awesome! They were very friendly and accommodating. Negative: The room did not seem to get cool enough with the thermostat lowered- it wasn’t hot, but I prefer to be a bit cooler.

Clean, warm, cosy. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Great shower. Good location, great staff throughout (someone give a raise to Nancy, from the breakfast team - she's outstanding!) (Some minor maintenance is needed here and there, but overall - I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying again once back to Nashville)

Very polite staff. Water pressure very good for shower. Complimentary cookies fresh hot and warm. Pizza and tenders from restaurant inside was delicious. No free Buffett at this Hilton stay but it was good. Cost 20.00 for the Buffett per person. Lady at front desk stated that customers may want to call ahead to ensure hotel serve complimentary breakfast. Over all enjoyed the stay!!!
