DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis

Had a short but nice stay at the Double Tree Annapolis. Lots to do around the hotel with multiple shopping areas and food establishments. Ports of Call which is the Resturant at the hotel was great and made it easy to drop our bags in the room and walk to dinner. We enjoyed the exercise room in the morning.

We stayed here to go to a NAVY Women's lacrosse game. While the hotel itself shows some wear (entry ceiling into room, bathroom door handle, worn carpets in hallway) the staff here is wonderful. So accomodating from the front desk staff to the bartender in the restaurant on a Friday night to the super polite and funny shuttle driver. We would stay here again because of the staff.

This was my second stay and both times I have been completely satisfied. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. The shuttle service is a bonus. Every staff member that I met (Trendy, Casondrah, Antwaine, Jay and the restaurant and bar staff) was friendly and helpful. The hotel is older, but you cannot beat it for convenience, service and price.

I attended an event here to receive an award, and this was my first time at the property and in the meeting space. The room was a great fit for the event — clean, comfortable, and well organized. The highlight of the night was the catering bartender. She was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and quick, and she remembered every guest’s drink without missing a beat — even helped me remember someone else’s order. That kind of service makes a real difference. Overall, a great experience.

Definitely good value. I got a good deal on Expedia, making it very affordable and you get a lot when you stay here. There is a free shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go within 5 miles, and the warm chocolate chip cookie you get at check-in was delicious. The room was very clean. The restaurant was actually pretty good, better than I expected. Also the little convenience store at the front desk had a ton of good items for snacks, and even a good wine and beer selection.
